Field day was fun for all!  We spent the day outside and were lucky to have Mrs. Blauss and Ms. Benitez with us for the entire day.  Here are a few pictures from our day.

Baby Chicks

The end of the school year is fast approaching!  Here is a quick look into the joy that the baby chicks brought to our classroom!

Happy Birthday Baby Chicks!

Over the past twenty one days we have been immersed in the study of chicks.  We have observed our eggs as scientists.    The children have become experts in the field of chicks!

 We have read stories with chickens as main characters.

We have learned from our resident expert, Mrs. Blauss all about the process chicks go through in order to come into our world.

We have conducted scientific experiments, making hypothesis, observing and recording our results as good scientists do in order to learn new information.

Today our study of the egg will turn into a study of the chick itself as they hatch and join our classroom community for a short time.
